Each dawn brings
many blessings,
and there's a promise
of great things to come
at each day's end.
But the midday sunlight,
so warm and bright,
always reminds me of you,
my dear and trusted friend.
Our gifts in life
could never be measured,
by how much we earn,
or where we live.
But friendship is something
that will always be treasured,
and I'm grateful for your
willingness to give.
